What is Bunshin 3D?
Bunshin 3D is an online tool that turns a 2D image into a 3D model. You upload a picture (a photo, a logo, a screenshot, a sketch), and the AI builds a 3D version of it. You can download the file as STL for 3D printing, GLB for Unity and Unreal, OBJ for Blender, or FBX for older game pipelines. Most files are ready in less than a minute.
Who actually uses it?
People print figurines from old family photos. Game developers turn concept art into placeholder assets while waiting on a real artist. Parents print the small object their kid drew that morning. Designers mock up packaging ideas before sending them to a real 3D modeler. Teachers turn diagrams into something students can hold. The list keeps growing and we love hearing about new ones.
Pricing, in plain words
You get free credits when you sign up so you can try without giving a card. Credits never expire. There is no monthly subscription. If you need more, packs start at 3.99 dollars for 10 generations. Every model you make is yours, including for commercial work. We don't take royalties.
Formats we export
STL files load straight into Cura, PrusaSlicer and Bambu Studio without any repair step. GLB follows the glTF 2.0 standard, so it imports cleanly into Unity, Unreal, Godot and most web viewers. OBJ works with Blender, Maya and Cinema 4D. FBX is there for older Unity projects and certain studio pipelines. You pick the format on the export screen.
Why we built this
Modeling a simple object in Blender takes hours when you've never done it. We thought it shouldn't. So we trained a model to do the boring part for you, and we kept the interface small so nobody gets lost. If you want to refine the result in your favorite 3D software later, you still can. Most people never need to.
